Rewarding Volunteer Opportunities Available

Make a difference and help community members in need by volunteering with Maricopa Learns Through Service (MLTS), Valley of the Sun United Way Project Connect, and St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Maricopa Community Colleges faculty, staff, and students can help by participating at one of the following events from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.:

  • Feb. 22, 2018 – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 3802 N 59th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85033
  • April 19, 2018 – Calvary Phoenix Church at 12612 N. Black Canyon Hwy. Phoenix, AZ 85029
  • May 17, 2018 – First Southern Baptist Church Avondale at 1001 N. Central Ave. Avondale, AZ 85335
  • June 21, 2018 – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 830 E. 2nd Ave. Mesa, AZ 85204

You can also volunteer and help distribute food to students and community members at South Mountain Community College. Join St. Mary’s Food Bank on the following Friday mornings from 6:45 am to 9 a.m. to lend a helping hand:

  • Feb. 16, 2018
  • March 2, 2018
  • April 6, 2018
  • April 20, 2016
