National Community College Hispanic Council Annual Leadership Symposium
September 12-14, 2019
The National Community College Hispanic Council (NCCHC) is hosting their annual Leadership Symposium in Scottsdale, Sept. 12 – 14. Maricopa Community Colleges is a major host/sponsor for this event.
Since community colleges were created more than a century ago, access to learning opportunities for all has been a cornerstone of the community college mission.
For Latino students, access to higher education creates the opportunity to participate fully in the American dream. Access to professional development opportunities, like the NCCHC Fellows Program and Leadership Symposium, are bridges to administrative leadership positions.
Established in 1985 as an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), the Council is the nation's premier organization for the preparation and support of Hispanic leaders in America's community colleges. The non-profit, professional organization is committed to delivering high-quality leadership development experiences and providing Hispanics with opportunities to continue their personal and professional growth. The Council provides members with resources, networking, and educational opportunities.
