The E.A.R.T.H. Forward Summit is for students, staff, and faculty who are interested in taking action towards a more sustainable future through Education, Adaptation, Resiliency, and Technology for all of Humanity. Join students, staff, and faculty from across the district for an inspiring and beneficial day.
Two $500 scholarships redeemable at a Maricopa college and a Chromebook laptop for Maricopa students will be raffled! Participants must be present to win.
Sustainability Leadership Awards
The 2019 Sustainability Leadership Awards recognize MCCCD faculty, staff, and students who have committed to a more sustainable future and are leading sustainability efforts within their campuses and communities. Nominate students, staff, and faculty HERE.
EARTH Forward will feature a student showcase highlighting the notable work of students at Maricopa. Sustainability touches everyone, regardless of discipline, and EARTH Forward will give students an opportunity to connect their concerns about a sustainable future with their various majors. Complete the Student Showcase submission form by March 15th for consideration.
Sustainable Food Systems Scholarship
In addition to the two $500 scholarships for any Maricopa college that will be raffled (no application necessary), Rio Salado College is offering a $500 promotional scholarship to an individual looking to start or advance their career in sustainability! If you are interested in this opportunity, please review the eligible courses and scholarship requirements here, then fill out the form to submit your application. The winner will be announced at EARTH Forward. Apply here by March 24th.
